NHL Plays will look at some players to consider adding while building your lineups. Remember to check back on this page later in the day for confirmations on starting goalies and keep an eye on Rotoworld’s daily blurbs for all your fantasy hockey needs.

Keep in mind that FanDuel allows you to roster nine players (2C, 4W, 2D, 1G) with a salary cap of $55,000, while DraftKings has a cap of $50,000 for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 1G, 1UT). Ottawa will be play the first games of their back-to-back situation, while Pittsburgh, San Jose, Buffalo, Vegas and the Islanders will skate for the second time in two nights.

Editor's Note: Rotoworld’s Season Pass is now available for the low price of $19.99. You get plenty of extra articles including the minor league report, the junior report and much, much more. Buy it now!

Blake Wheeler (WPG) - C - $7,500 (FanDuel), $7,500 (DraftKings)

Wheeler should be locked into lineups on FanDuel, as he is a bit undervalued there. He is the most expensive center on DraftKings, but he should be targeted there as well. Wheeler’s transition to the middle and the loss of linemate Mark Scheifele hasn’t slowed him down. He has four goals and two assists during a four-game point streak going in Friday’s home tilt with Buffalo. Wheeler has also amassed 29 points (eight goals, 21 assists) at the Bell MTS Place this season.

William Karlsson (VGK) - C - $5,600 (FanDuel), $5,600 (DraftKings)

Karlsson has the potential to be a strong value play Friday night. He already has a goal in his last meeting against Chicago and he has scored five goals and seven points in the last eight games. Karlsson has been quiet the past two games, so his owernship could be lower heading into Friday's matchup.  He should be able to feed off Jonathan Marchessault, who just signed a new long-term extension and has been hot recently.

Jonathan Huberdeau (FLA) - W - $6,700 (FanDuel), $6,600 (DraftKings)

Huberdeau has been on a roll lately with five goals in the last five games. He has also found the scoresheet in both matches against Detroit this season with a goal and an assist. This was going to the be the second game in two nights for the Panthers, but Thursday’s matchup against Boston was postponed due to a severe weather storm. They will be fresh to face the Red Wings.

Kyle Connor (WPG) - W - $4,600 (FanDuel), $5,800 (DraftKings)

Connor is a bargain on FanDuel and can easily be stacked with Wheeler. His four-game point streak (three goals, three assists) ended on Tuesday, but there’s a good chance he gets back on the scoresheet on Friday night.

Shea Theodore (VGK) - D - $4,500 (FanDuel), $4,300 (DraftKings)

Theodore has a decent price tag and good point potential for Friday night.  Theodore has had some trouble staying in the lineup this year, but he has been playing much more regularly lately.  He has compiled 13 points, including six on the power play, in 24 appearances.  Theodore also has three goals and five assists in the last eight games.

Jordan Oesterle (CHI) - D - $4,100 (FanDuel), $3,600 (DraftKings)

Oesterle fits the bill if you are seeking an under-the-radar blueliner. He has two goals and two assists during a three-game point streak going into Friday night’s action. Oesterle has been logging heavy minutes for the Blackhawks and he’s been seeing time on the second power-play unit as well. He has accounted for seven points, 32 shots and 23 blocks in 14 games this campaign.
