Martin Jones G (San Jose) - $8,800 FanDuel, $7,400 DraftKings
Despite being pulled in his last game after giving up four goals on 21 shots, Martin Jones has been terrific this season for the Sharks and San Jose has been the stingiest team in the NHL in goals allowed with only 35 in 15 games. Jones is 7-4-0 with a 2.24 GAA and a .922 save percentage. They face a tough Los Angeles team but the Sharks have been adept at shutting down opponents.
John Carlson D (Washington) - $5,700 FanDuel, $5,700 DraftKings
Carlson has two goals and 13 points this season with both goals and two assists coming over the last three games. He is hot right now and an established offensive defenseman so this seems to be the right place and time to add him to your fantasy lineup.
Jake Muzzin D (Los Angeles) - $4,900 FanDuel, $5,100 DraftKings
What a difference a year makes! Muzzin had a terrible 2016-17 season in which he had 28 points in 82 games after back-to-back 40 point seasons. But this season it’s the old Muzzin with two goals and 12 points in 16 games. He has an assist in each of his last two games as well.
Steven Stamkos C (Tampa Bay) - $8,700 FanDuel, $7,800 DraftKings
There are lots of good centers to take but go with the NHL leader in points, Stamkos. It has been an amazing comeback from an injury that forced him to him the final 65 games of the season last year. Stamkos has eight goals and 30 points thus far in only 17 games and has been one-two or two-one with linemate Nikita Kucherov as the best player in the league.
Vladislav Namestnikov W (Tampa Bay) - $6,300 FanDuel, $5,900 DraftKings
The unsung hero of the first line gets little publicity due to the fact that Stamkos and Kucherov are his linemates but Namestnikov is having a fine season in his own right. He has eight goals and 18 points in 17 games and has three goals and an assist in his last two contests. The price is right at this stage of the season for Namestnikov.
Kyle Palmieri W (New Jersey) - $5,500 FanDuel, $5,200 DraftKings
Palmieri injured his foot at practice on October 22 and just returned to action this week, scoring Saturday. He is playing on the Devils top line with Taylor Hall and Nico Hischier with four goals and eight points in nine games. They face Chicago Sunday.
