NHL Plays will look at some players to consider adding while building your lineups. Remember to check back on this page later in the day for confirmations on starting goalies and keep an eye on Rotoworld’s daily blurbs for all your fantasy hockey needs.

Keep in mind that FanDuel allows you to roster nine players (2C, 4W, 2D, 1G) with a salary cap of $55,000, while DraftKings has a cap of $50,000 for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 1G, 1UT).

Edmonton, Montreal, Dallas, Philadelphia and Vancouver will be playing the second half of their respective back-to-back situations on Wednesday night. The NHL is off Thursday for U.S. Thanksgiving.

Editor's Note: Rotoworld’s Season Pass is now available for the low price of $19.99. You get plenty of extra articles including the minor league report, the junior report and much, much more. Buy it now!

Johnny Gaudreau (CGY) - W - $8,000 (FanDuel), $7,400 (DraftKings)

Gaudreau is a great premium option for Wednesday, especially if you don’t want to spend up for Nikita Kucherov. The Flames winger has been an offensive tear with eight goals and 11 assists in a 10-game point streak. Gaudreau has found the back of the net in six straight contests and he has collected seven power-play points during that span.

Nathan MacKinnon (COL) - C - $6,400 (FanDuel), $6.200 (DraftKings)

MacKinnon and the Avs will be waiting for Dallas at home after the Stars visited Montreal on Tuesday night. The Colorado pivot has enjoyed a strong start to the season after a disappointing 2016-17 campaign. He has amassed 14 points, including 10 assists, in his last eight games. MacKinnon also has 13 points in eight appearances on home ice.

Filip Forsberg (NSH) - W - $7,600 (FanDuel), $6,500 (DraftKings)

Forsberg and the Predators will have the benefit of playing against a Canadiens team that played the night before. He has one goal and six helpers over a five-game point streak along with six goals and 14 points over nine home outings. Forsberg could be a strong stack play along with linemates Ryan Johansen and Viktor Arvidsson on Wednesday night, especially if Antti Niemi gets his first start with Montreal.

Rickard Rakell (ANA) - C - $6,800 (FanDuel), $7,000 (DraftKings)

Rakell has done a great job as Anaheim’s number one center with Ryan Getzlaf on the sidelines for most of the 2017-18 season. He has accounted for 18 points in 20 games, with three goals and eight assists coming in his past eight matches.

James van Riemsdyk (TOR) - W - $6,700 (FanDuel), $6,000 (DraftKings)

Van Riemsdyk has six goals in 10 games this November and three have come on the power play. He leads the Leafs with five markers and eight points on the man advantage and the Florida Panthers rank 30th overall on the penalty kill this season. JVR appears to be set up nicely to get a goal for a third straight game and possibly do some damage on the power play.

Eric Staal (MIN) - C - $6,500 (FanDuel), $6,000 (DraftKings)

Staal has been held off the scoresheet just two times in his last eight appearances. He has amassed three goals and seven assists during that time. Staal should be able to take advantage of a Sabres team that has struggled mightily this season, especially when they have been at home.

P.K. Subban (NSH) - D - $5,500 (FanDuel) $5,000 (DraftKings)

Subban has contributed two assists in each of his last two outings and he has scored three of his four goals this season in his past eight contests. He posted a helper in his only meeting against his former Montreal teammates in 2016-17.

Nick Leddy (NYI) - D - $5,000 (FanDuel), $5,500 (DraftKings)

Leddy is a bit more undervalued on FanDuel, but he has the potential to provide plenty of bang for the buck on DraftKings as well. He has registered a multi-point performance in six of his last 11 games. Leddy has five goals and nine assists during that span. He also has nine points in eight home matches this campaign.

Keith Yandle (FLA) - D - $4,800 (FanDuel), $4,600 (DraftKings)

Yandle has one goal and three helpers in his past four games thanks to a pair of multi-point efforts. He has done very well against Toronto in his career with 15 points (two goals, 13 assists) in 16 contests. Yandle had one goal and six points in five meetings versus the Leafs in 2016-17. He could be a bargain addition on Wednesday night.

Devan Dubnyk (MIN) - G - $8,900 (FanDuel), $7,400 (DraftKings)

Dubnyk checks in at a great price on DraftKings and he is manageable for lineups on FanDuel. The Wild netminder posted three straight shutouts before allowing four goals apiece to New Jersey and Nashville. Dubnyk should bounce back against the Sabres. Buffalo is 31st overall with 2.29 goals for per game. He was 1-1-0 against the Sabres last year with a 1.01 GAA and a .968 save percentage.
