John Tavares (NYI) - C - $8,200 (FanDuel), $7,400 (DraftKings)
Tavares doesn’t come cheap Wednesday night, but he leads the Islanders with 18 goals and 87 shots in 30 games this season. He also has 10 markers and 19 points in 12 matches on home ice and has missed the scoresheet in only three of his last 12 outings. If you can’t make a stack of Tavares and Anders Lee work then Mathew Barzal is a solid option as well.
Roman Josi (NSH) - D - $6,300 (FanDuel), $6,800 (DraftKings)
Josi has produced one goal and four assists in the last seven games. He has picked up the goal and two helpers on the power play during that span. Nashville ranks second overall with the man advantage going into Wednesday’s action and Vancouver sits 20th in the league in penalty kill efficiency, while allowing the ninth most power-play against (22). This should put Filip Forsberg on your radar as well because he leads the Predators with eight goals and 14 points when the team has been up by at least one man this campaign.
Mats Zuccarello (NYR) - W - $5,500 (FanDuel), $5,800 (DraftKings)
Zuccarello has been rolling since mid-November with 13 points (four goals, nine assists) in his last 13 games. He has been held off the scoresheet just four times during that stretch. The 30-year-old had two helpers against the Senators on Nov. 19 in a 3-0 win for the Rangers. He has amassed 11 points in 13 career meetings versus Ottawa.
Kevin Fiala (NSH) - W - $4,400 (FanDuel), $4,900 (DraftKings)
Fiala has plenty of upside as a bargain addition for Wednesday’s slate. He will enter Nashville’s matchup against Vancouver with a four-game point streak. Fiala has three goals (two on the power play), two assists and 17 shots during that span.
David Krejci (BOS) - C - $5,700 (FanDuel), $4,400 (DraftKings)
Krejci has battled injury issues this season, but he has collected 12 points in 15 appearances when he’s been in the lineup. He has three goals and three helpers in the past six contests. Krejci has also been very successful against Detroit over the last two seasons with 11 points (three goals, eight assists) in eight matches.
