Point Guard

Kendrick Nunn - Miami Heat (vs. Los Angeles Lakers)

Nunn provided a huge spark off the bench Friday night while matched up against Kentaviouis Caldwell - Pope. I think the Miami Heat has found a matchup that they like here and I wouldn’t be surprised if Nunn finds himself in the starting lineup. Even if he doesn’t start, expect him to come off the bench quickly and aggressively. Nunn’s ability to penetrate and then distribute is becoming a successful part of Miami’s strategies against the Lakers. Nunn’s salaries are still low enough to hit value despite the increase. I expect this game to stay close but ultimately end with a Los Angeles Lakers Game 6 Championship win.

Other PG Option: Rajon Rondo - Los Angeles Lakers (Miami Heat)

Shooting Guard

Tyler Herro - Miami Heat (vs. Los Angeles Lakers)

Herro and Nunn might not be the best plays together (in the same lineup) but if the Nunn play isn’t for you, Herro should be your guy. Butler has made it clear that he will aggressively lead this team going forward but when those double teams come, Butler’s first look will be to a three-point shooting Herro. Herro has averaged 26.7 DK points over 35.3 minutes per game this series. The Lakers are favored by -6 with a 214.5 O/U.

Other SG Option: Kentavious Caldwell - Pope - Los Angeles Lakers (Miami Heat)

Small Forward

Jimmy Butler - Miami Heat (vs. Los Angeles Lakers)

Butler is well aware of what he needs to do in order for Miami to extend this series. Does Butler’s expected aggressive play mean that other Heat players won’t eat? No. Butler knows how to be both aggressive and a facilitator and I expect him to do just that. Butler is simply a must-play. Even if the Lakers were to double him consistently, Butler will still hit value. Everything will run through Jimmy Butler tonight.

Other SF Option: LeBron James - Los Angeles Lakers (vs. Miami Heat)

Power Forward

Anthony Davis - Los Angeles Lakers - (vs. Miami Heat)

While I do like Jae Crowder tonight for GPP purposes, Anthony Davis is our top play. Davis is now under a little pressure. After a seemingly bad ankle injury in his last game, he returned to the court relatively quickly. Even with the injury, Davis totaled 61.0 DK points. Butler and Davis should be your top MVP selections.

Other PF Option: Jae Crowder - Miami Heat (vs. Los Angeles Lakers)

Center

Dwight Howard - Los Angeles Lakers (vs. Miami Heat)

Bargain Bin

Howard is a cheap option who doesn’t have much of a ceiling and his floor is quite low. So, why do I mention him? Well, if you want to fit AD, Lebron, and Butler in your lineups, you’ll need a Bargain Bin play in order to make things work. Howard could be that guy. He does guard Bam better than any other Lakers Center but over his last two games, he’s only averaging 11.5 minutes per game. If he can reach 15 minutes of play he might be able to reach value at low roster percentages as well as low salaries tonight.

Other C Option: Bam Adebayo - Miami Heat (vs. Los Angeles Lakers)

Bargain Plays:

Dwight Howard

Alex Caruso

Andre Iguodala
