Friday is a little different. There are 12 games scheduled, but only three of those contests start at 7:00 p.m. ET or later. With that in mind, you’ll want to enter an earlier league if you want to participate in a larger set of games.
Evgeni Malkin (PIT) – C - $8,500 FanDuel, $7,500 DraftKings, $29 Yahoo
Malkin is coming off a five-point game and has recorded multiple points in four of his last six contests. While he has been limited to 14 games due to injury, when he has played, he’s excelled with six goals and 19 points.
Jack Eichel (BUF) – C - $8,100 FanDuel, $7,600 DraftKings, $32 Yahoo
Eichel has recorded at least a point in seven consequence games. Over that span, he’s contributed six goals and six assists. That brings him up to 14 goals and 31 points in 25 games, which is pretty good even for his price point.
Jake Guentzel (PIT) – W - $7,800 FanDuel, $7,200 DraftKings, $26 Yahoo
Guentzel was another Penguins player who came up big on Wednesday, scoring two goals and two assists. That extended his point streak to six games, giving him six goals and 11 points over that span. After breaking out last season with 76 points, he’s shown that wasn’t a fluke by recording 25 points in 25 contests.
David Perron (STL) – W - $6,700 FanDuel, $5,300 DraftKings, $19 Yahoo
Perron has been a pretty effective player for his price with 11 goals and 24 points in 26 games. He’s been effectively lately too. He’s on a five-game point streak and has only been held off the scoresheet twice in his last 10 contests.
Andrei Svechnikov (CAR) – W - $6,700 FanDuel, $6,500 DraftKings, $23 Yahoo
Svechnikov has a nine-game point streak coming into Friday’s action. That’s pushed him to 11 goals and 28 points in 25 games this season. The sophomore will easily surpass his rookie total of 37 points.
Ryan Getzlaf (ANA) – C - $6,300 FanDuel, $5,700 DraftKings, $18 Yahoo
Getzlaf got off to a bit of a slow start with just two points in six games, but he’s turned things around lately. He’s on a six-game point streak and has six goals and 15 points in his last 15 contests.
Bargain Bin: Patrick Kane (CHI) - $8,700 FanDuel/$7,700 DraftKings/$33 Yahoo, Nikita Kucherov (TBL) - $8,200 FanDuel/$7,300 DraftKings/$35 Yahoo, Anze Kopitar (LAK) - $7,900 FanDuel/$6,200 DraftKings/$20 Yahoo, Patrik Laine (WPG) - $7,600 FanDuel/$6,500 DraftKings/$25 Yahoo, Sebastian Aho (CAR) - $7,500 FanDuel/$6,700 DraftKings/$27 Yahoo, Logan Couture (SJS) - $7,200 FanDuel, $6,500 DraftKings/$23 Yahoo, Brayden Schenn (STL) - $6,200 FanDuel/$5,300 DraftKings/$20 Yahoo, Dustin Brown (LAK) - $5,600 FanDuel/$4,500 DraftKings/$15 Yahoo
Dougie Hamilton (CAR) - $6,600 FanDuel, $6,900 DraftKings, $26 Yahoo
Hamilton has been one of the most reliable defensemen this season when it comes to offensive contributions. He’s only been held off the scoresheet six times over his first 25 games. He’s scored 10 goals and 26 points in 2019-20.
Roman Josi (NAS) - $6,200 FanDuel, $7,000 DraftKings, $26 Yahoo
Like Hamilton, Josi has been a very good bet throughout the first two months of the season. He’s recorded at least a point in 17 of 24 games in 2019-20. Over that span, he’s scored seven goals and 24 points.
Zach Werenski (CLM) - $6,100 FanDuel, $5,800 DraftKings, $18 Yahoo
You’re better off taking Hamilton over Werenski in FanDuel, but I’d grab Werenski in DraftKings and Yahoo. Werenski’s been red hot lately with three goals and nine points in eight contests this season.
Bargain Bin: Seth Jones (CLM) - $5,400 FanDuel/$5,900 DraftKings/$19 Yahoo, Ryan Suter (MIN) - $5,300 FanDuel/$4,000 DraftKings/$17 Yahoo, Kevin Shattenkirk (TBL) - $5,100 FanDuel/$4,800 DraftKings/$19 Yahoo, Cam Fowler (ANA) - $4,800 FanDuel/$4,200 DraftKings/$18 Yahoo
Anders Nilsson (OTT) - $8,600 FanDuel, $7,500 DraftKings, $32 Yahoo
While the Senators aren’t a good team this season, Nilsson is nevertheless a fairly strong option. He has a 7-5-1 record, 2.58 GAA, and .927 save percentage in 13 starts. It helps that the Senators will be up against Minnesota, which hasn’t been particularly good offensively in 2019-20. Just double check the starting situation before picking Nilsson to make sure that he is indeed going to be in net.
