NHL Plays will highlight the best and the most underrated daily fantasy options among forwards, defensemen and goaltenders.

Please note, these players were chosen early in the day, so make sure to check Rotoworld’s player news for any lineup changes, injuries and potential changes in the crease for starting goaltenders.

Additionally, it is worth reminding everyone that FanDuel allows you to roster nine players (2C, 4W, 2D, 1G) with a salary cap of $55,000, while DraftKings has a cap of $50,000 for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 1G, 1UTIL). Yahoo has a $200 cap for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 2G).

There are three games in the NHL on Sunday.

Elias Pettersson (Vancouver) - C - $7,500 (FanDuel), $5,700 (DraftKings), $28 (Yahoo)

Pettersson leads the Canucks with 31 points including 11 goals in 27 games. He was held pointless Saturday by Edmonton but should be on the scoresheet tonight as he as only gone scoreless in two straight games twice this season. Pettersson is a value pick but if you can afford Connor McDavid in your lineup, do so.

Tomas Tatar (Montreal) – W - $6,400 (FanDuel), $5,500 (DraftKings), 19 (Yahoo)

Tatar has been the Habs top point producer this season and has nine goals and 24 points in 26 games. Montreal has a tough matchup in Boston but Tatar has two goals and four points in his three-game points streak.

Tanner Pearson (Vancouver) - W - $4,400 (FanDuel), $3,800(DraftKings), $16 (Yahoo)

Tanner Pearson loves playing the Edmonton Oilers this season. He has three goals and five points in two games with 15 shots on goal. The Canucks face Edmonton and this is as good a time as any (with the exception of Saturday night) to play Pearson.

Bargain Bin:  Jake DeBrusk (Boston) - W - $5,000 (FanDuel)/$4,000 (DraftKings)/ $ 18 (Yahoo) ,  Zack Kassian (Edmonton) - W - $4,400 (FanDuel)/$4,500 (DraftKings)/ $13 (Yahoo)  Roope Hintz (Dallas) – C - $5,900 (FanDuel)/$11,400 (DraftKings), $ 17 (Yahoo),

Oscar Klefbom (Edmonton) - $5,500 (FanDuel), $6,000 (DraftKings), $20 (Yahoo)

Klefbom has been a streaky player this season and has a goal and 17 helpers in 28 games. Currently, he has only one assist in his last five games but he could be ready to break loose again.

Miro Heiskanen (Dallas) - $4,900 (FanDuel), $12,900 (DraftKings), $19 (Yahoo)

Heiskanen has gone four games without a point but the Stars are in Minnesota to face a rookie goaltender in Kaapo Kahkonen and Heiskanen could feast against the fellow Finn. Heiskanen has six goals and 17 points in 27 games and the smooth-skating blueliner, who is only 20, is a plus-11 on a good Dallas squad.

Bargain Bin:

Quinn Hughes (Vancouver) - $4,800 (FanDuel)/$3,900 (DraftKings)/ $20 (Yahoo) Matt Dumba (Minnesota) - $3,700 (FanDuel), $12,300 (DraftKings), $18 (Yahoo)

Ben Bishop (Dallas) - $8,800 (FanDuel), $16,500 (DraftKings). $34 (Yahoo)

As mentioned earlier, the Stars are in Minnesota to face a rookie goaltender so Bishop is in a fine spot to pick up a win.  He is 9-6-1 with a 2.22 GAA and a .928 save percentage, making him one of the best netminders in the NHL this season.

Bargain Bin:  Mikko Koskinen (Edmonton) $8,400 (FanDuel)/$7,700 (DraftKings)/ $34 (Yahoo)
