I expect Mike McCarthy to dial up the passing game this year between the 20s. Jason Garrett was a lot more passive through the air and that should change. Problem is, Dak is a bootleg weapon inside the five and Zeke is always dangerous near the goal line.
I like Dak for yards and Goff for touchdowns.
#2 Ezekiel Elliott's rushing yards? Rushing touchdowns?
< 50, 50-84, 85-114, 115+
0, 1, 2+
Hmmm. We already discussed Dallas' shift to a more aerial attack, so I can't go 115+ yards with Zeke. Let's knock it down a peg and go between 85 and 114 yards with one rushing score.
#3 Total points 1st Half?
< 19, 19-21, 22-24, 25-27, 28-30, 31+
How low can you go? I'll go to the bottom and say less than 19 points. Tackling may be a concern, but I'm more concerned with these offenses getting into rhythm early.
#4 Most receiving yards?
Cooper Kupp! Why not. Amari Cooper will be a popular pick, but Kupp is no stranger to breaking a big one from the slot. He's also been Jared Goff's security blankie for years. Give me seven or eight targets and we may get there.
#5 Last touchdown of the game?
How about a Dak Prescott keeper? Go big or go home.
#6 Longest field goal of the game?
< 23 yards, 23-32, 33-40, 41-49, 50-54, 55+
A 41-49 yard boot seems about right. Rams coach Sean McVay definitely has some riverboat gambler in him and I don't expect L.A. to attempt any super long field goals.
Dallas Cowboys or Los Angeles Rams?
I may be on an island here, but I feel like the Cowboys are just a smidge overvalued heading into the season opener. There's always hype around Dallas, but it feels like even more than usual this year. Give me Los Angeles 27-21 on Sunday Night.
