Robert Tonyan aims to stay on a top-five roll as Washington’s Logan Thomas hopes to prove he belongs in the top 12.
Other positions: Quarterback | Running Back | Receiver
Updated 12/18 at 7:05 PM ET. Decided I had Jordan Reed too high. Moved Evan Engram down as we wait on health news. Waiting on Mike Gesicki. Swapped out Cardinals kickers.

TE Notes: Travis Kelce is 127 yards away from tying George Kittle’s single-season tight end yardage record. That’s a number he has reached in four of his past five games. Rarified air for any position. … Darren Waller has 27 targets over his past two appearances. With Henry Ruggs (COVID-19) on the shelf, the looks have nowhere to go but Waller and Nelson Agholor. … The coronavirus could not stop Mark Andrews’ hot streak, as he returned from the COVID-19 list to post his second most yards of the season, with both high-water marks coming in his past two games. The Jaguars have quit on 2020. … Robert Tonyan has not reached six targets in any of his past six appearances. That is not enough volume for top-four status, but it’s 2020 and Tonyan has four scores over his past four games, checking in as the TE3 by average points amongst healthy players on the season. The Panthers hand out the seventh most TE fantasy points.

With 35 targets producing 284 yards over his past four contests, T.J. Hockenson deserves to be higher against the Titans’ awful defense. The problem is Matthew Stafford’s (ribs) touch-and-go health. TE5 might be ambitious if it is Chase Daniel under center. … Eric Ebron’s five Week 14 looks were his fewest in six Sundays. He gets a soft landing in a Bengals D donating the fourth most TE fantasy points. … Hunter Henry never established a ceiling. He has done his best to provide floor, drawing seven-plus targets in 9-of-13 outings. Thursday night’s 52.5 over/under is enticing. … The Giants’ recent quarterback musical chairs have been bad for Evan Engram’s business. Thankfully, Week 15 opponent Cleveland provides the second most TE fantasy points. … Dallas Goedert’s production did not collapse in Jalen Hurts’ debut. It merely teetered enough to challenge his top-five status quo. At least in terms of TE fantasy points surrendered, the Cardinals are a bottom-five matchup. … Noah Fant’s 2020 has been injury decimated. He boasts upside for a 49.5-totaled Saturday date with a Bills team coughing up the sixth most TE fantasy points.
Logan Thomas is one of the only players Alex Smith can complete passes to. He has 15 grabs on 16 targets over the past two weeks. … The Falcons are an A+ opponent for Rob Gronkowski. I just find his usage too volatile in his crowded, inconsistent offense. … Hayden Hurst has 10-or-fewer yards in 3-of-4 games, which makes zero sense considering the available targets in the Falcons’ banged up offense. … At some point, Jordan Reed’s consistent volume of 5-6 looks will result in another 5/50/1 performance. The Cowboys are as soft as it gets. … The Bears are doing their utmost to get Cole Kmet more involved. The Vikings are an approachable place to take a TE2 gander if you’re out of reasonable options for the fantasy semis. … Jared Cook has revived for scores each of the past two weeks. The Saints’ passing volume will need to go way up to beat the Chiefs. … Gerald Everett and Tyler Higbee get a one-week return to TE2 relevance vs. the Jets’ Mountain West defense.
