Sunday Prop Shop: Week 6

Welcome to the Sunday Prop Shop.

Every weekend, we'll dive inside the thousands of NFL props from our friends over at PointsBet Sportsbook. Please scale back your bet size on props, because a lot of these picks will be longer shots to win. I like to bet a little to win a lot with props. If you bet 100 dollars a game, go with 10 or 20 bucks a prop.

Let's go.

$25 Nick Foles throws exactly zero interceptions (+158)

One interception is actually the favorite at +138 and that makes total sense because Foles has thrown three picks in three games this season. However, the Colts and Buccaneers are both top five defenses and receiver Allen Robinson had a ball ripped out of his hands against the Falcons. This is a much easier test against a Panthers Defense that ranks 31st out of 32 teams in defensive DVOA according to Football Outsiders. Carolina only has three interceptions in five games. I really like my chances for Foles to have a clean game.

$15 Alabama (-196), Clemson (-2598), North Carolina (-510) all win on Saturday (+130)

This is a booster bet at PointsBet. The original number was -115 and they boosted it to +130. Clemson is a 27-point favorite and North Carolina is laying 13.5 at Florida State. Let's just assume those two teams take care of business. Alabama is the only leg that worries me. Georgia is a very good football team and Nick Saban not being on the sideline could potentially be an issue in a high pressure situation. I still think the Tide rushing attack is too strong and I'll bet against the immobile Stetson Bennett.

$10 Minnesota Vikings score 31-40 points (+235)

I expect this Atlanta-Minnesota game to be a shootout. The initial move came on Vikings -3 and PointsBet is currently dealing the Vikes -4. That's a good sign. Atlanta is a boat that's just leaking water right now. Sure, things are exponentially better with Dan Quinn out of the way, but that move alone is not going to fix a defense that's allowed 161 points in five games. Only Dallas (180) has given up more points this season. Minnesota is more offense than defense these days and if they get Dalvin Cook going, the opportunities will definitely open up down the field.
