His second year in the NBA, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander quietly made a major leap.
After putting up 10.8 ppg, 2.8 rpg and 3.3 apg as a promising rookie for the Clippers, SGA's year-two jump saw him put up 19.0 ppg, 5.9 rpg, 3.3 apg, 1.1 spg, 0.7 bpg and 1.2 3s as a focal point for the Thunder.
With Chris Paul (Phoenix), Danilo Gallinari (Atlanta), Kelly Oubre (OKC for about five minutes, then Golden State) as well as Steven Adams (New Orleans) now gone, Gilgeous-Alexander is the focal point in Oklahoma City, and competition to land the 22-year-old in fantasy drafts is likely going to be fierce.
On the latest episode of the Rotoworld Fantasy Basketball Podcast, Steve Alexander joins me to analyze the aftermath of NBA free agency for 12 different teams, as we try (and fail) to keep our expectations in check for SGA, Michael Porter Jr., Christian Wood and others.
