Watching Jusuf Nurkic play in Orlando, it's hard to imagine that he's been out for almost a year and a half.
Playing in his first NBA games since his devastating leg injury in March of 2019, Nurkic through two games in the bubble has put up 24.0 ppg, 9.0 rpg, 5.0 apg, 2.0 spg and 3.5 bpg, knocking Hassan Whiteside — who had a first-round fantasy season — into a backup role for the time being.
On the latest episode of the Rotoworld Fantasy Basketball podcast, Steve Alexander joins me to discuss the Nurkic renaissance, plus the fallout from Jonathan Isaac's ACL tear, a breakout game from Michael Porter Jr. (37 points on Monday), a 53-point bonanza for T.J. Warren over the weekend and some very encouraging performances from Dejounte Murray.
Also on this episode: Steve makes the questionable decision to hop on a surfboard towed by a motorboat, and breathes a sigh of relief on our Luka Doncic free throw bet after his 18-of-19 performance over the weekend.
