Power Play Report

Sharks not biting on the PP

by Michael Finewax
Updated On: October 4, 2018, 4:04 pm ET

The San Jose Sharks are trying to make the playoffs and their power play is falling apart. The Sharks have not scored with the man-advantage in 12 games and are 0-27 in that stretch.

It doesn’t seem to make sense with players like Brent Burns, Joe Pavelski, Logan Couture and now Evander Kane in the lineup but perhaps they really miss the injured Joe Thornton whose absence over the last 19 games has sorely been missed, especially with the power play.
