Week 10 Live Blog

by Ryan McDowell
Updated On: October 4, 2018, 4:04 pm ET

Week Ten is upon us and fortunately for fantasy owners, there are no major surprises as we saw last week. Redskins TE Jordan Reed is out but all other players previously iffy for this week are expected to suit up, including Colts WR T.Y. Hilton, Cowboys WR Dez Bryant, Redskins WR Jamison Crowder and Lions rookie WR Kenny Golladay. Also, TEs Delanie Walker and Charles Clay are both set to play for their teams. Here we go!

(7:19PM) The day is coming to an end as the 49ers are heading for their first win of the season, currently leading 31-21. The Falcons easily defeated a Dallas team missing both RB Ezekiel Elliott and OL Tyron Smith. The Cowboys managed only seven points in the game. The Rams also had an easy win, taking out the Texans 33-7.

(7:05PM) Denver WR Emmanuel Sanders and New England WR Danny Amendola are both officially active for the Sunday Night Football game, while Pats RB Mike Gillislee is apparently a healthy scratch.

(7:03PM) And finally, the top FF TEs for the week, so far...

TE1- Jimmy Graham

TE2- Jermaine Gresham

TE3- Austin Hooper

TE4- Garrett Celek

TE5- Vernon Davis

(7:02PM) The top FF WRs for the week...

WR1- Robert Woods

WR2- Adam Thielen

WR3- Chester Rogers

WR4- AJ Green

WR5- Golden Tate

(7:00PM) I mentioned this at the start of the day, but now we know for sure...Patriots TE Martellus Bennett is active for tonight's game. This is sure to be a hot topic in the coming days as there seems to be some wrong doing on the part of at least one of the teams involved.

(6:59PM) The top scoring FF RBs up to this point...

RB1- Mark Ingram

RB2- DeMarco Murray

RB3- Austin Ekeler

RB4- Alvin Kamara

RB5- Todd Gurley

(6:57PM) Let's check out the top fantasy scorers for the week, with the action winding down...

QB1- Kirk Cousins

QB2- Jared Goff

QB3- CJ Beathard

QB4- Case Keenum

QB5- DeShone Kizer

(6:56PM) The 49ers are going to get their first win of the year and the end could be near for Giants HC Ben McAdoo as his team hasn't even put up a fight. RB Matt Breida just broke free for a 33-yard rushing touchdown, making the score 31-13 in the fourth-quarter.

(6:30PM) The Rams are opening things up. After a turnover from QB Tom Savage, the Rams quickly got into the end zone on the third touchdown pass of the day from QB Jared Goff, finding WR Robert Woods for the second time in the game.

(6:26PM) The Rams have extended their lead on a touchdown pass from QB Jared Goff to WR Sammy Watkins, good for 17 yards. Watkins is up to 41 yards on a pair of catches in the second-half.

(6:13PM) The Falcons continue to add to their lead as QB Matt Ryan and WR Justin Hardy connected for the three-yard score, giving Atlanta a 17-7 lead over a struggling Cowboys team.

(6:05PM) Buried in their own territory is no problem for the Rams as QB Jared Goff hit WR Robert Woods over the top for a 94-yard score, expanding the Rams lead to 16-7. Woods has 104 yards on three receptions.

(5:53PM) Texans WR Will Fuller has been ruled out for the remainder of the game with a rib injury. He recorded two catches for 15 yards before exiting.

(5:39PM) A pair of quick touchdowns in an overall quiet afternoon slate. RB Tevin Coleman pushed on the one-yard touchdown to give the Falcons the lead. Coleman is seeing increased playing time with starter Devonta Freeman out of the game with a concussion. For the 49ers, TE Garrett Celek continues the trend of the Giants not being able to stop the tight end position. Celek broke free for a 47-yard score, giving San Fran a 17-13 lead as halftime approaches.

(5:28PM) A battle of two of the worst teams in the league just produced another touchdown as Giants QB Eli Manning found his favorite target, rookie TE Evan Engram, for a nine-yard score. The Giants now lead 13-10 over the winless 49ers. Manning has 130 firs-half passing yards, while Engram has a 3/18/1 line in the early going.

(5:20PM) Falcons RB Devonta Freeman does officially have a concussion and is out for the remainder of the game.

(5:17PM) The 49ers have regained the lead over the visiting Giants thanks to a breakaway play. WR Marquise Goodwin beat the defense and QB CJ Beathard hit him over the top for an 83-yard score. The 49ers now lead 10-6.

(5:07PM) The Texans have taken the lead on a 26-yard touchdown from QB Tom Savage to WR Bruce Ellington. WR Will Fuller was injured earlier in the drive and is questionable to return.

(5:00PM) Some late news from the earlier slate of games. Colts QB Jacoby Brissett, who was in and out of the lineup, is now in the concussion protocol.

(4:53PM) The big plays are continuing into the afternoon slate of games. RB Todd Gurley broke off consecutive plays of 43 yards and 15 yards and the Rams are in the red zone. Gurley has 74 total yards in the early going.

(4:48PM) No Zeke, no problem. Well, that might not be the case, but with RB Ezekiel Elliott serving the first game of his suspension and new starter Alfred Morris starting slowly, QB Dak Prescott took things into his own hands, rushing for an 11-yard touchdown to give Dallas the lead over Atlanta midway through the first quarter.

(4:45PM) We could be looking at a heavy dose of RB Tevin Coleman this afternoon after starting RB Devonta Freeman has been sent to the locker room, reportedly due to a possible concussion.

(4:43PM) The Jaguars/Chargers game has finally wrapped after a field goal from former Chargers K Josh Lambo

(4:39PM) Another Jaguars interception has put them in a position to win the game in overtime, but yet another unnecessary dead ball penalty nearly moved the team out of the red zone. Following the interception and long run back, a Jags defender pointed a taunting finger in the face of QB Philip Rivers, drawing the flag.

(4:27PM) While the Jaguars last-second comeback is impressive, the usage of RB Leonard Fournette has been confusing. In his first game in nearly a month, Fournette has just 12 carries for 24 yards and has been outrushed by QB Blake Bortles

(4:23PM) A few solid plays from QB Blake Bortles and the Jags offense, combined with a bonehead penalty from Chargers LB Joey Bosa gave the Jaguars a chance to tie the game and they did just that with a field goal. With just seconds left, this one looks destined for overtime.

(4:17PM) Some games going final...

Vikings 38, Redskins 30

Steelers 20, Colts 17

Buccaneers 15, Jets 10

Packers 23, Bears 16

Lions 38, Browns 24

Saints 47, Bills 10

Titans 24, Bengals 20

(4:13PM) A major gaffe by Jaguars WR Marqise Lee cost his team the game. After what he felt was a bad call, Lee was flagged for taunting and the Jags were backed up 15 yards. Faced with a third and 25, QB Blake Bortles followed that up with an interception and the Chargers should be able to run out the clock.

(4:11PM) The Jaguras defensive score was taken off the board following a review and it is now in the hands of QB Blake Bortles to overcome the late deficit. The Jags trail 17-14 with under two minutes remaining.

(4:09PM) The Titans just took the lead with under 30 second remaining as QB Marcus Mariota hit RB DeMarco Murray, who fought for the goal line and scored his third touchdown of the game. Murray has 81 total yards and barring a miaracle, the Titans will get a home win over Cincy.

(4:08PM) The Colts gave away another game they should've won as Pittsburgh's K Chris Boswell connected for a game-winning field goal as time expired.

(4:06PM) When it looked like they were done, the Jaguars defense came through once again. After an interception by QB Blake Bortles, the Chargers ran the ball and rookie RB Austin Ekeler, who has played well enough to move Melvin Gordon to the bench in this game, fumbled. The "Sacksonville" defense picked it up and scored, giving his team a lead with under two minutes left.

(4:02PM) Jets veteran QB Josh McCown has had a down game against his former team, Tampa, but he just found his top WR Robby Anderson for a 38-yard score to close the lead to five points. McCown is now up to 264 yards, while Anderson has a 4/85/1 line for thi game. The Jets onside kick failed, so it looks like Tampa will hang on for the win.

(3:54PM) Packers WR Davante Adams is establishing himself as the go-to option for QB Brett Hundley and he just hauled in a 42-yarder along the sideline. The Pack leads by seven at the two-minute warning. Adams has 90 yards on five receptions, including a touchdown.

(3:52PM) The Titans defense had kept Bengals WR AJ Green under wraps most of the game, but he just broke a 70-yard touchdown to give Cincy the lead. Green now has a 5/115/1 stat line for the game.

(3:50PM) The Lions have opened things up thanks to a 40-yard touchdown catch and run from WR Golden Tate, who now has a 6/97/1 line for the game. That was the third touchdown pass of the day for QB Matthew Stafford

(3:49PM) Colts QB Jacoby Brissett returned to the game earlier and now Browns QB DeShone Kizer is set to return, as he warms up on the sidelines.

(3:45PM) With the Bills being dusted at home by the Saints, Buffalo QB Tyrod Taylor has been pulled in the fourth-quarter as the team turns to rookie QB Nathan Peterman to finish off the loss. The Saints currently lead 46-3. RB Mark Ingram (131/3) and Alvin Kamara (138 total/1) have dominated. QB Drew Brees even has a rushing score and the latest came on a rushing touchdown from RB Trey Edmunds for 41 yards.

(3:39PM) The Bucs are in the end zone and continue to lead the Jets, despite the absence of QB Jameis Winston and WR Mike Evans. QB Ryan Fitzpatrick and RB Charles Sims just hooked up for the most recent score. The two-point conversion attempt failed, leaving the score as 15-3.

(3:37PM) Packers Brett Hundley looks like a different quarterback than we saw last week. He just found WR Davante Adams for a 19-yard score, extending the Packer lead over the Bears. Hundley has 170 passing yards.

(3:35PM) Redskins QB Kirk Cousins just scored his second rushing touchdown of the game, keeping his team in contention against a red hot Vikings squad. Cousins has 235 passing yards and a passing touchdown, along with his running scores.

(3:32PM) The Steelers have scored again, this time on a seven-yard touchdown pass from QB Ben Roethlisberger to TE Vance McDonald. Pittsburgh then went for two and scored it on a Martavis Bryant catch, tying the game at 17.

(3:29PM) it has been a very disappointing season for Lions TE Eric Ebron, but all tight ends produce against the Browns and Ebron is no different. He just scored on a 29-yard pass from QB Matthew Stafford to give the Lions the lead. With no DeShone Kizer, the Browns could have trouble coming back.

(3:28PM) Bears rookie QB Mitchell Trubisky just completed his new career-long touchdown throw, connecting with WR Josh Bellamy for a 46-yard score, closing the Packers lead to 16-13.

(3:26PM) On the field, Titans rookie WR Corey Davis was just awarded his first career touchdown, but it is being reviewed and will almost certainly be overturned, likely to be ruled a touchback. Regardless, the Titans continue to lead the Bengals.

(3:19PM) Browns rookie QB DeShone Kizer is on the bench once again, but this time it is due to injury, not a coach's decision. Kizer took a huge hit to the ribs and backup QB Cody Kessler is in the game. Also, Colts QB Jacoby Brissett is in the locker room with a head injury and backup Scott Tolzein is warming up to enter the game. An ugly quarterback landscape gets worse.

(3:14PM) A pair of touchdowns to update you on...Saints QB Drew Brees couldn't find an open receiver so he just ran it in from seven yards to extend the huge lead, now 37-3, pending the extra point. Also, Lions QB Matthew Stafford hit RB Theo Riddick for an eigth-yard score to tie the game against Cleveland.

(3:12PM) The Jaguars are back in the game against the Chargers after an extended drive ended with a touchdown pass from QB Blake Bortles to WR Marqise Lee. They then ran the same play to complete a two-point attempt, tying the game at 14 points.

(3:08PM) With veteran Matt Forte out, this looked like an ideal matchup for Jets RB Bilal Powell, who was expected to dominate the touches against a poor Tampa run defense. Instead, Powell has just 30 yards on 10 carries and has barely been involved in the passing game.

(3:07PM) And now the Browns have regained the lead following a quarterback sneak from QB DeShone Kizer, who has 57 rushing yards on the day.

(3:06PM) Not a scoring play, but just the opposite. Redskins WR Jamison Crowder had a pair of red zone targets, both of which should've been caught for a touchdown, but instead he dropped both. Washington settled for a field goal.

(3:03PM) The Browns have tied the game at 17 and are not going away. RB Isaiah Crowell ran for a six-yard score, giving him 86 rushing yards in the game.

(2:59PM) It's a hat trick for Saints RB Mark Ingram, who just scored his third rushing touchdown of the day as New Orleans is trouncing the host Bills 30-3. Ingram has 94 rushing yards midway through the third-quarter.

(2:57PM) The Steelers may have been sleep walking in the first-half, but they're moving now. QB Ben Roethlisberger and WR Juju Smith-Schuster connected for the short touchdownclosing the lead to 17-9. Smith-Schuster is up to a 4/77/1 line for the day.

(2:55PM) Another Vikings touchdown has doubled the Redskins score after the game was close in the first-half. QB Case Keenum found WR Jarius Wright for a seven-yard touchdown, Keenum's fourth of the day. That was Wright's first reception of the game.

(2:53PM) the Saints have extended their lead over Buffalo on a touchdown run from rookie RB Alvin Kamara, making it 24-3. Kamara now has 73 total yards and the score, while starter Mark Ingram is up to 91 rushing yards with his two earlier touchdowns.

(2:51PM) The Steelers offense is starting better in the second-half as QB Ben Roethlisberger hit rookie WR Juju Smith-Schuster for a 44-yard reception, putting the team in the red zone. Smith-Schuster leads the Steelers with three receptions for 70 yards in the game.

(2:49PM) Chargers rookie RB Austin Ekeler has done it again. Ekeler caught a pass from QB Philip Rivers and took it 22 yards for the touchdown, extending the Chargers lead over Jacksonville to 14-6. Ekeler has 90 total yards along with the two scores. Starter Melvin Gordon has just 24 total yards on the day.

(2:48PM) The Redskins have yet to rule out RB Rob Kelley with an ankle injury, but they are calling him doubtful to return. Expect to see RBs Samaje Perine and Chris Thompson going forward.

(2:46PM) The Colts already had one 60-yard passing score and now they have a second. QB Jacoby Brissett hit WR Chester Rogers for a 61-yard score as the Colts lead Pittsburgh 17-3 in the early third-quarter.

(2:44PM) The Packers have now lost RB Ty Montgomery with a rib injury, leaving rookie RB Jamaal Williams as the lone remaining tailback in the Green Bay offense.

(2:33PM) A turnover late in the half gave the Vikings a chance at another score and they took advantage as QB Case Keenum threw his third touchdown of the half, finding TE David Morgan for his first career touchdown. The Vikes lead 28-17.

(2:30PM) Halftime of many games means a check on the top fantasy producers of the day, so far...

QB- Case Keenum, Kirk Cousins, Deshone Kizer

RB- DeMarco Murray, Mark Ingram, Ty Montgomery

WR- Adam Thielen, Brandon LaFell, Michael Thomas

TE- David Morgan, Adam Shaheen, Delanie Walker

(2:25PM) Vikings WR Adam Thielen continues to quietly produce a top five fantasy season among receivers. He just caught a six-yard score from QB Case Keenum to give his team the lead as halftime nears. Thielen has four grabs for 100 yards in the first-half.

(2:22PM) The Jaguars defense doesn't allow many touchdowns, so when it happens, it is notable. Rookie RB Austin Ekeler just scored from 28 yards out after a short pass from QB Philip Rivers. If it stands, the Chargers will have the chance to take the lead as halftime nears.

(2:18PM) Bengals QB Andy Dalton turned the ball over, quickly followed by his counterpart, QB Marcus Mariota giving it back to Cincy. This time, the Bengals took advantage as RB Joe Mixon scored from four yards out. Also, earlier in this game, veteran RB DeMarco Murray scored his second touchdown on the game. He has 38 total yards along with the two scores.

(2:15PM) It was only a matter of time before the Browns committed a costly turnover and TE Seth DeValve was the culprit, as the Lions stripped the ball and ran it back for a touchdown, giving the Lions the lead late in the half.

(2:14PM) The Saints are in the red zone after a 28-yard reception by WR Michael Thomas. At the two-minute warning, Thomas already has seven grabs for 91 yards.

(2:11PM) Washington QB Kirk Cousins ran one of the ugliest sneaks I've seen in a while, but was still successful in scoring, giving the Skins a 17-14 lead, pending the extra point.

(2:08PM) No surprise, but Packers RB Aaron Jones has been ruled out for the remainder of the game. Redskins RB Rob Kelley remains out, while rookie Samaje Perine is getting the carries for the Skins.

(2:04PM) A couple of non-fantasy football related notes...Saints RB Daniel Lasco was injured on a kickoff and had to be taken from the field via ambulance. Also, Bengals LB Vontaze Burflict made contact with an official and was ejected. Considering his history, he could certainly be suspended for this incident.

(2:00PM) In a terrible move by Bears HC John Fox, the team challenged a potential scoring play from RB Benny Cunningham, who stretched for the pylon, but was initially ruled out of bounds. Fox challenged the play and upon review, it was clear that Cunningham actually lost the ball before either scoring or stepping out of bounds. That's a Bears turnover, thanks to Fox.

(1:54PM) A pair of rushing touchdowns within seconds of each other...first, Lions RB Ameer Abdullah rank for the eight-yard score to close the lead, followed by Saints RB Mark Ingram scoring for the second time today, giving his team a 14-3 lead.

(1:53PM) The Vikings are in the end zone as QB Case Keenum hit WR Stefon Diggs for the three-yard score to give the Vikings the lead.

(1:51PM) The big plays continue around the league...WR Adam Thielen just caught a 38-yarder while Lions WR Golden Tate hauled in a 35-yard reception.

(1:49PM) With the Browns known for their run defense and the Lions struggling to run the ball, of course Detroit's Ameer Abdullah has already broken a pair of long runs, for 20 and 19 yards respectively. Abdullah has 33 yards on three carries. His teammate Theo Riddick also has a 21-yard rush of his own among his 31 total yards.

(1:47PM) The Packers offense is picking up and RB Ty Montgomery is getting most of the touches with rookie RB Aaron Jones in the locker room. Montgomery just broke a 37-yarder for a touchdown, giving Green Bay a 10-3 lead over their longtime rival Chicago. Montgomery now has 53 total yards.

(1:43PM) The Jaguars have taken the lead on another long touchdown run from backup RB Corey Grant. This one came on a fake punt that Grant took and ran with going 56 yards for the score to give his team a 6-0 lead.

(1:41PM) Colts WR Donte Moncrief is good for a couple of big plays per season and he just hit one of them, a 60-yard bomb from QB Jacoby Brissett for a touchdown, giving the Colts a 7-0 lead over a slow-starting Steelers team. RB Le'Veon Bell has 27 total yards, while WR Antonio Brown has just one catch for five yards early in the second quarter.

(1:39PM) The Redskins converted a fourth-down attempt as RB Chris Thompson pulled in a 27-yard catch to put his team in the red zone. On the following play, RB Rob Kelley lost the ball and suffered an injury. The fumble is under review as it appeared his knee may have been down before he lost the ball.

(1:25PM) The Bengals responded to the Titans scoring drive with a long-touchdown on a 37-yard connection between QB Andy Dalton and WR Brandon LaFell, who already has a 3/49/1 line on the day.

(1:24PM) Packers rookie RB Aaron Jones had to be carted to the locker room and has been labeled as questionable to return with a knee injury. Expect to see plenty of Ty Montgomery and Jamaal Williams today.

(1:23PM) Here's a surprise! The Browns have a 10-0 lead over the Lions after a 19-yard touchdown catch from veteran WR Kenny Britt, who has struggled the entire season. This should open up for even more pass attempts for QB Matthew Stafford and the Lions.

(1:20PM) The Saints have taken an early lead as RB Mark Ingram rushed for a one-yard score. Earlier in the drive, the Saints converted a fourth-down attempt on another Ingram run. The starting RB already has 43 yards, while rookie RB Alvin Kamara has 15 yards on two touches. Looks like another big day for the duo.

(1:17PM) Yet another huge play, the biggest of the day so far. Vikings WR Stefon Diggs, who is finally healthy, just hauled in a 51-yard reception to put the Vikings into the red zone. RB Latavius Murray finished off the drive with a short touchdown run.

(1:15PM) The Packers are expected to use a running back by committee with some combination of Ty Montgomery, Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams. That could change though, as Jones just limped off the field.

(1:14PM) The Titans strike first as the impressive drive previously mentioned ends with a touchdown run from RB DeMarco Murray, who has battled injuries all season. Murray has 16 yards on four early carries and Tennessee has a 7-0 lead.

(1:13PM) It's been a day of big offensive plays already and Packers QB Brett Hundley and WR Randall Cobb just connected for a 38-yarder of their own.

(1:11PM) Little-known WR Marcus Harris of the Redskins just made one of the best catches of the season. Officials had to go to replay to double-check, but it was reversed and called a touchdown, a 36-yarder from QB Kirk Cousins to give Washington a lead over the Vikings.

(1:10PM) The Titans offense is on the move against the Bengals, thanks in large part to a 28-yard scamper from QB Marcus Mariota. The running game has been missing from the quarterback's game all year, so hopefully this is a sign of things to come.

(1:07PM) A 38-yard reception by Browns WR Sammie Coates put the Browns in the red zone, but they were forced to settle for a field goal to take the early lead over Detroit.

(1:05PM) The road struggles for Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger have been well-documented and he's off to a bad start as he just threw an interception to the Colts defense.

(12:58PM) We'll check in on this later in the day, but as previously mentioned, Dallas WR Dez Bryant is expected to play in the late afternoon game. On tonight's Sunday Night matchup, Dolphins RB Damien Williams is questionable, but also expected to play.

(12:56PM) We've got some interestig news this morning. TE Martellus Bennett, who was released by the Packers earlier in the week and quickly claimed by the Patriots, is now likely to play in tonight's game. This is noteworthy considering he had been out of the Packers lineup due to an injury and was cut due to his failure to disclose an injury. There's more to learn about this story.
