Week 15 Live Blog

Updated On: October 4, 2018, 4:04 pm ET

We are now deep in the fantasy playoffs and your matchup may have already swung one way or another with big Week Fifteen performances from Chiefs RB Kareem Hunt and Chargers RB Melvin Gordon. On the other hand, if you used WR Keenan Allen, QB Philip Rivers or really anyone from the Broncos/Colts Thursday Night tilt, you need fantasy points in a hurry!

This week, injuries are already playing a huge role in the expected outcome of the games. The Eagles are forced to move to backup QB Nick Foles after the season-ending injury for MVP candidate QB Carson Wentz, while the Packers get superstar QB Aaron Rodgers back on the field.

(7:32PM) Our time this week ends with a field goal from 49ers K Robbie Gould to win the game, the third win in a row for the Niners and new QB Jimmy Garoppolo. Enjoy the final two games of the week and good luck in your fantasy playoffs!

(7:28PM) The Titans did just enough for their K Ryan Succop to be in position to nail a 50-yard field goal and he did that to take the lead. 49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo now has just over a minute to answer the score and try to win the game.

(7:21PM) In the final game of the day slate, the 49ers lead the Titans by two points and Tennessee has the ball with under two minutes.

(7:19PM) In one of the more unreal finishes I've ever seen, the Steelers had the spike play to stop the clock and attempt a game-tying field goal. Instead, QB Ben Roethlisberger faked the spike and threw an interception, ending the game and giving the Patriots a win and an AFC East title.

(7:16PM) UPDATE: The officials are still reviewing the TE Jesse James touchdown and have overturned the call. The Steelers have to try and win it again.

(7:13PM) QB Ben Roethlisberger had less than a minute to go 80 yards, but he didn't need that long. He hit rookie WR Juju Smith-Schuster for 69 yards and then followed that up with a touchdown pass to TE Jesse James to regain the lead with under 30 seconds left.

(7:09PM) As he has done so many times, Patriots QB Tom Brady has led a late drive that could potentially win the game. Brady hit TE Rob Gronkowski for three big plays and then RB Dion Lewis ran it in. Brady went back to Gronk for the two-point conversion and now the Pats lead by three with under a minute remaining.

(7:04PM) With just over two minutes remaining, the Patriots have to ball, driving to take the lead. The trail by five points in a game the Steelers have led for much of the second-half.

(6:51PM) Early in the fourth-quarter, the Titans and QB Marcus Mariota have taken the lead on a touchdown pass to WR Rishard Matthews, who has 87 yards on five receptions in the game. 49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo already has his team on the move and closing in on the red zone.

(6:29PM) It's time to check in on the top fantasy scorers from the week, so far...

Quarterback:

QB1- Cam Newton

QB2- Eli Manning

QB3- Nick Foles

QB4- Brock Osweiler

QB5- Blake Bortles

Running Back:

RB1- Todd Gurley

RB2- Kareem Hunt

RB3- Mark Ingram

RB4- Melvin Gordon

RB5- LeSean McCoy

Wide Receiver:

WR1- Keelan Cole

WR2- Sterling Shepard

WR3- Michael Thomas

WR4- Jaydon Mickens

WR5- Randall Cobb

Tight End:

TE1- Greg Olsen

TE2- Evan Engram

TE3- Richard Rodgers

TE4- Zach Ertz

TE5- Benjamin Watson

(6:26PM) The shutout is over in Seattle as QB Russell Wilson hit TE Luke Willson for a 26-yard score. Wilso now leads the team in rushing with 39 yards, which is nothing new and he's up to 131 passing yards. WR Doug Baldwin has just one reception in the game for six yards.

(6:10PM) Earlier in the second half, Patriots RB Rex Burkhead suffered a seemingly minor knee injury, but he has now been ruled out for the game. RB James White was able to return, but we should see a lot of RB Dion Lewis going forward.

(6:08PM) Rams RB Todd Gurley is in the midst of a career-game. He just scored his fourth touchdown of the day, this time a 14-yard reception from QB Jared Goff. The Rams missed the extra point, but still lead 40-0.

(6:05PM) A pair of updates from that big game. First, WR Brandin Cooks just caught a four-yard touchdown. After a missed extra point, the Pats trail by one. Also, Steelers WR Antonio Brown has been sent to the hospital for further testing, so the earlier hopes that the injury wasn't that serious have been dashed.

(5:59PM) With all of the attention given to the Steelers/Patriots showdown, I've ignored the Titans/49ers game. The Niners currently lead 16-10 at halftime with touchdown receptions for Titans TE Delanie Walker and 49ers TE Garrett Celek. Niners WR Marquise Goodwin leads the way with five grabs for 69 yards.

(5:43PM) Heading off the field at halftime, Steelers HC Mike Tomlin said he didn't expect WR Antonio Brown to return to the game. The team has previously called him questionable with a calf injury. X-rays were reportedly negative, which would seemingly be good news for his status for the remainder of the season.

(5:38PM) At the half, the Rams lead the Seahawks 34-0 and RB Todd Gurley has been a difference-maker, totaling 158 yards and three touchdowns in the first half.

(5:37PM) They might be without WR Antonio Brown, but the Steelers have the lead again after WR Martavis Bryant hauled in a four-yard score from QB Ben Roethlisberger. With halftime approaching, Pittsburgh leads 17-10.

(5:20PM) The update from Pittsburgh is that WR Antonio Brown is currently getting x-rays on his injured leg. Regardless of the results, this is clearly bad news for his status for the remainder of this game.

(5:07PM) The Rams are looking like the far better team, leading 20-0 over Seattle after a short touchdown run from RB Todd Gurley, who already has 76 total yards in the second-quarter.

(5:05) Hold your breath! Steelers WR Antonio Brown is down and favoring his lower leg after an end zone target. Brown needed help to the sidelines and if he can't return, the Steelers and many fantasy owners could be in trouble.

(4:56PM) Patriots RB James White limped off the field with an injury, which should open up even more touches for RBs Rex Burkhead and Dion Lewis

(4:48PM) The Steelers responded with a scoring drive of their own to tire the game. QB Ben Roethlisberger connected with four different pass-catchers for 10+ yards on the drive, including WR Eli Rogers, who caught an 18-yard score to cap the drive.

(4:38PM) In the biggest game of the day, the Patriots have taken the early lead over Pittsburgh. The touchdown run from RB Rex Burkhead was set up by a 43-yard catch for WR Brandin Cooks. Expect plenty of scoring in this one.

(4:37PM) The Rams already lead over the Seahawks thanks to a pair of field goals and now they have the bigger lead after a touchdown run from RB Todd Gurley, setup by a long punt return from WR Pharoh Cooper. The Rams lead 13-0, pending the extra point.

(4:29PM) The Giants stayed with the high-powered Eagles for the entire game, but in the end Philadelphia got the win and earned a bye in the playoffs. QB Nick Foles finished with 237 yards and four touchdowns.

(4:22PM) In similar fashion to the Dolphins, the Packers turned the ball over after recovering the onside kick and the Panthers held on for the win. QB Aaron Rodgers turned the ball over three times, but also threw for three scores and 290 yards, a mixed bag as can be expected after a long lay off.

(4:18PM) If you were a little disappointed by the production from Saints RB Mark Ingram in the second half, he just changed that. Ingram broke off a 50-yard touchdown run to seal the win, giving him 151 total yards on the day.

(4:12PM) The Jets refuse to go away. A touchdown pass from QB Bryce Petty to rookie RB Elijah McGuire closed the gap to just one possession. The Jets will surely attempt an onside kick.

(4:09PM) After a successful onside kick, Dolphins QB Jay Cutler threw an interception, sealing the win for the Bills. Buffalo takes it 24-16. The Redskins held on for a 20-15 win over the Cardinals and the Ravens easily handled the Browns, 27-10. The Vikings dominated the Bengals, who avoided the shut out with a late touchdown from RB Giovani Bernard. More importantly, Minnesota clinched the NFC North with the win.

(4:05PM) The Packers are trying to stay in the game and QB Aaron Rodgers just hit TE Richard Rodgers for a 24-yard score. The Packers followed that up with a successful onside kick and now have the ball down a touchdown with just over two minutes remaining.

(3:54PM) The Jaguars tried to call off the troops, benching many offensive starters with much of the fourth-quarter remaining. It didn't matter. Backup RB Corey Grant dominated the drive and ran it in for an eight-yard touchdown, extending the lead to 45-7. Grant already has 45 yards on just four carries.

(3:48PM) After having a pair of earlier touchdown receptions overturned, Saints WR Michael Thomas made this one count, catching a four-yard score from QB Drew Brees. Thomas now has eight grabs for 88 yards and a score.

(3:39PM) Dolphins RB Kenyan Drake is keeping his hot streak going, running for a one-yard score to cut the Bills lead to 24-13. Drake has 78 rushing yards in the game midway through the fourth-quarter.

(3:37PM) For the second time today, QB Cam Newton hit WR Damiere Byrd for a touchdown, this one good for 13 yards. Byrd has 3/25/2 for the game and the Panthers lead 31-17. Newton has thrown for 242 yards and four scores, along with 59 rushing yards.

(3:36PM) The Vikings lead big and they have brought in some backups, including QB Teddy Bridgewater, playing for the first time since his near career-ending knee injury.

(3:32PM) Vikings TE Kyle Rudolph was ruled out for today's game on Friday, but he showed up as active on gameday. Earlier in the game, he looked like his day was done, but he returned and caught a one-yard touchdown pass from QB Case Keenum, extending the Vikes lead over the Bengals to 34-0.

(3:30PM) The Giants are back in the game after QB Eli Manning and WR Tavarres King combined for a touchdown for the second time. This one was good for 57 yards, but the Giants failed on the two-point conversion, making the score 31-29.

(3:20PM) The Eagles and QB Nick Foles are staying hot after Foles hit WR Nelson Agholor for a 10-yard score. That gives Foles four touchdowns and the Eagles a 31-23 lead. Agholor has four catches for 33 yards.

(3:16PM) It has been a strange day for the Jaguars with WRs Keelan Cole and Jaydon Mickens dominating. Meanwhile, FB Tommy Bohanon just scored his second rushing touchdown of the day and the lead has extended to 38-7. We might not see much more of Bortles in this game, but he already has 320 passing yards and three scores.

(3:14PM) As expected, the Packers have ruled out WR Davante Adams for the remainder of the game. He ends with a solid stat line of 5/57/1, which leads the team.

(3:08PM) The Jaguars can only stop WR DeAndre Hopkins for so long. QB TJ Yates dropped it in to Hopkins, who made a nice leaping grab for 25 yards to end the shut out. After a slow start, Hopkins has 4/80/1.

(3:06PM) It required a challenge from Panthers HC Ron Rivera, but QB Cam Newton has thrown another touchdown, this time to WR Damiere Byrd from nine yards out. Carolina now leads 24-14 midway through the third quarter.

(2:59PM) Panthers WR Devin Funchess looked like a sure thing today as he faced the Packers defense in an expected shoot out. Instead, Funchess has just one catch for 19 yards and is now on the sidelines with an injury. UPDATE: Funchess missed just one play and is back on the field.

(2:55PM) The Vikings are leading big early in the third-quarter and TE Kyle Rudolph is on the sidelines with no helmet. With a comfortable lead, we might not see Rudolph again today. He has one reception for 16 yards.

(2:50PM) Earlier in the season, Packers WR Davante Adams was on the wrong end of a huge hit against the Bears. It has happened again as he was attempting to make a play after an interception from QB Aaron Rodgers. Adams was able to walk off the field, but the huge helmet to helmet hit could keep him out of the remainder of the game.

(2:49PM) It might not matter much, unfortunately, but WR Jeremy Maclin has been ruled out for the remainder of the game with a knee injury.

(2:44PM) The Panthers have taken the lead over the Packers on a 30-yard pass from QB Cam Newton to TE Greg Olsen, who finally looks healthy. Olsen was wide open for the score and now has 4/57/1 in the game.

(2:40PM) After an interception, the Jaguars offense made quick work to get another score in before the half. QB Blake Bortles hit WR Jaydon Mickens for 41 yards and then found WR Keelen Cole from nine yards out for the score. The Jags lead 30-0 with under 30 seconds left in the half.

(2:35PM) Rookie RB Jamaal Williams is off to a slow start as QB Aaron Rodgers has reinvigorated the Green Bay passing offense. Williams has just 19 yards on six carries and has been outgained by fellow rookie RB Aaron Jones (2/43).

(2:31PM) The Bills and Dolphins are at the half with Buffalo leading 21-6, thanks to a rushing score for QB Tyrod Taylor, who ran it in from nine-yards out.

(2:29PM) Texans WR DeAndre Hopkins didn't practice this week, but still suited up for one of the toughest matchups in the league against the Jaguars defense. With halftime approaching, Hopkins has just one reception for 10 yards on a team-high four targets. Trailing 21-0, expect the Texans to throw the ball for much of the second half.

(2:25PM) The Eagles have come roaring back to take the lead as QB Nick Foles hit TE Trey Burton for a 13-yard score, giving them a 21-20 lead. Foles has just 85 first half passing yards, but three scores to keep his team in the game and keep fantasy players happy.

(2:21PM) The Browns can't stop opposing tight ends, even the old ones. Ravens TE Benjamin Watson just scored from 33-yards out, opening up the Baltimore lead to 17-7.

(2:19PM) QB Aaron Rodgers has done it again, this time connecting with WR Randall Cobb, who broke multiple tackles on his way to a 33-yard touchdown. Cobb is one player who needed Rodgers to return, but WR Jordy Nelson has yet to even record a reception.

(2:18PM) Maybe last week wasn't a fluke. Jaguars rookie WR Keelan Cole already has 104 receiving yards on five first half receptions. He leads the team, while much-hyped WR Dede Westbrook has just one grab for seven yards.

(2:17PM) The Eagles are glad to have TE Zach Ertz back and fully healthy. Ertz just caught a 10-yard score from QB Nick Foles, closing the Giants lead to one possession with less than five minutes in the first half. Ertz now has 3/25/1 for the game.

(2:09PM) The Ravens have regained the lead on a two-yard touchdown run from QB Joe Flacco. Ravens RB Alex Collins has struggled today, rushing 11 times for 24 yards as halftim approaches.

(2:07PM) Vikings WR Stefon Diggs had been quiet for weeks, but he just broke his scoreless streak, catching a 20-yard touchdown, extending the Minnesota lead to 24-0. Diggs has 4/29/1 on the day.

(2:04PM) Little known Jaguars WR Jaydon Mickens has done it again and now has a pair of touchdowns in the game, seeing increased playing time with WR Marqise Lee in the locker room with an ankle injury.

(2:01PM) After missing much of last week's game, the Saints are making use of rookie RB Alvin Kamara. He just scored on a ten-yard pass from QB Drew Brees and has 66 total yards on seven touches. The Saints lead the Jets 17-7.

(2:00PM) Good news as RB LeSean McCoy is back on the field, missing just one play with what was a minor injury. He then hauled in a 16-yard score from QB Tyrod Taylor.

(1:59PM) The Browns have taken the lead on a 12-yard touchdown run from RB Duke Johnson. The Browns have hade success in the running game already in this game as starting RB Isaiah Crowell has 69 yards on four carries.

(1:57PM) And things are getting worse. Bills RB LeSean McCoy is now down and being tended to on the field. More on both of these Bills injuries as it is reported.

(1:55PM) The Bills have apprently once again lost WR Kelvin Benjamin, who just limped off the field. Unfortunately, this is a weekly occurance for Benjamin.

(1:51PM) The Jets are not going away, even without their starting QB Josh McCown. New starter Bryce Petty led a drive that ended with a two-yard rushing score from RB Bilal Powell, making it a 10-7 game.

(1:48PM) The Jaguars/Texans matchup is looking like a blowout. QB Blake Bortles found WR Jaydon Mickens for his first career touchdown, a five-yarder.

(1:46PM) The Giants and QB Eli Manning came to play spoiler today. Manning hit WR Sterling Shepard for a 67-yard touchdown, extending New York's lead to 20-7. Shepard has 5/99/1 already.

(1:44PM) The Redskins have scored again. QB Kirk Cousins hit RB Kapri Bibbs with a short screen and he did the rest, taking it in for. 36-yard touchdown. Washington leads 14-3 over a fading Cardinals teams.

(1:37PM) The Giants are surprisingly putting points on the board against the Eagles defense. QB Eli Manning connected with WR Tavarres King for a 13-yard score, giving the G-Men the 13-7 lead.

(1:35PM) After an earlier announcement that HC Marvin Lewis would be leaving the team at the end of the season combined with injuries hitting the team hard and this Bengals squad seems to be falling apart. QB Andy Dalton threw a pick six to the Vikings defense. Minnesota now leads 14-0 and just turned the Bengals over on downs.

(1:34PM) Correction...the touchdown for WR Michael Thomas was just overturned. The Saints lost the first down, but gained the first down and RB Mark Ingram took advantage with a short score.

(1:32PM) The Saints have expanded their lead over the reeling Jets as QB Drew Brees hit WR Michael Thomas for a seven-yard score. Thomas has two grabs for 15 yards in the game.

(1:31PM) Packers QB Aaron Rodgers has thrown his first touchdown of the day, connecting with WR Davante Adams for a 13-yard score. Adams now has 3/35/1 despite missing much of the first drive.

(1:30PM) The Jaguars got the short score on a run from FB Tommy Bohanon, giving the Jaguars an early lead.

(1:25PM) Jaguars WR Marqise Lee has suffered an ankle injury and needed to be helped to the locker room. The team has called him questionable to return. The Jags are already without starting RB Leonard Fournette in this game.

(1:23PM) The Eagles and QB Nick Foles quickly answered the Giants score as Foles found WR Alshon Jeffery in the back of the end zone for the score. With an extra point, they can take the lead over their division rivals.

(1:22PM) Good news for the Packers. As they are getting the ball back following the Panthers score, it appears that WR Davante Adams is ready to return to the game.

(1:20PM) I mentioned earlier that RB Orleans Darkwa got the touchdown for the Giants, but it was WR Sterling Shepard who did much of the work. He's already seen five targets, catching four for 32 yards.

(1:19PM) The Panthers were impressive on their opening drive and capped it off with a touchdown from QB Cam Newton to RB Christian McCaffrey, spanning seven yards. McCaffrey totaled 60 yards on nine opening drive touches.

(1:18PM) The Saints had to settle for a field goal on their opening drive, but RB Mark Ingram did rack up 54 yards on a reception, keying the drive. Rookie RB Alvin Kamara had just one carry for four yards.

(1:14PM) Another team cashing in on a rushing touchdown as RB Orleans Darkwa ran it in from one-yard out to cap off a successful first drive. The Giants did have the extra point blocked, so lead 6-0 over the Eagles.

(1:10PM) A pair of running backs just found the end zone for their teams. RB LeSean McCoy scored to give the Bills an early lead while RB Latavius Murray hit paydirt for the Vikings.

(1:08PM) It's going to be a wild day! The Bills, Saints, Giants, Vikings and Ravens are all in the red zone!

(1:06PM) And just like that, the Redskins capitalized on the turnover as QB Kirk Cousins hit a wide open WR Jamison Crowder for a short touchdown.

(1:06PM) The Redskins defense got after QB Blaine Gabbert and the Cardinals early, with a sack/fumble that has Washington in the red zone.

(1:03PM) The Packers have the ball first and QB Aaron Rodgers first pass attempt was complete to WR Davante Adams, who limped off the field after hauling in the pass.

(12:59PM) Other players expected to be in action today include: QB Tyrod Taylor, RB Matt Forte, WR Mike Wallace, WR Devin Funchess, WR DeAndre Hopkins, , WR Kelvin Benjamin and TE Kyle Rudolph.

(12:54PM) Players expected to sit this week are: RB Leonard Fournette, RB Joe Mixon, WR Ted Ginn, QB Tom Savage, WR John Brown and RB Damien Williams.
