Travis Konecny’s ownership in Yahoo leagues has increased from 38% to 46%. Kevin Fiala, who also appeared on Waiver Wired last week, went from being owned in 15% of leagues to 31%.

Now, let’s go into this week’s recommendations:

Micheal Ferland (CGY) - LW, RW - Owned in 36% of Yahoo leagues

Ferland has generated one goal and three assists in five games this month. He had a quiet end to January with two helpers in seven outings, but he has warmed up again. Ferland is still skating on the first line alongside Sean Monahan and Johnny Gaudreau, which gives him plenty of fantasy value. He has recorded 20 goals and 34 points in 54 games to go along wth 109 shots and 117 hits.

J.T. Miller (NYR) - C, LW, RW - Owned in 35% of Yahoo leagues

Miller has produced three multi-point efforts in his past six outings. He has two goals and six assists during that stretch. Miller has been contributing from the Rangers’ second line, but he also receives time on the top power-play unit. He has earned three points on the man advantage during his recent hot streak. Miller should be able to continue his successful run this week despite the struggles of his team.

Cam Ward (CAR) - G - Owned in 35% of Yahoo leagues

Ward has registered four victories in his last six starts and he has allowed two goals or less on four occasions in his past five outings. He has posted a 1.48 goals-against average and .947 save percentage in four games this month to go with a mark of 2-1-1. Ward has been seeing the bulk of the starts over Scott Darling and that trend should continue with the Hurricanes set to play four times over a six-day span this coming week.

Jeff Petry (MTL) - D - Owned in 31% of Yahoo leagues

Petry has racked up four goals and four assists in his past eight matches. He has been quarterbacking Montreal’s top power-play unit during Shea Weber’s absence and he has three points on the man advantage during his current hot streak. Petry has logged heavy minutes, while recording 12 points and a minus-2 rating in the last 16 contests. He has also been credited with 124 hits and 97 blocks this campaign.

Derek Stepan (ARI) - C - Owned in 26% of Yahoo leagues

Stepan has one goal and four helpers over a three-game point streak. He has been a consistent producer for the Coyotes and hasn’t gone more than two games without a point since a three-game stretch from Dec. 7-Dec. 10. Stepan has five goals and 12 assists during that 22-game span. He has been centering the top line between Clayton Keller and Brendan Perlini.

Kyle Connor (WPG) - LW - Owned in 15% of Yahoo leagues

Connor has moved down the depth chart on the Jets, but he has three goals and three helpers in the last five games. It may only be a matter of time before he is back playing on the top line with Mark Scheifele and Blake Wheeler. Connor had been playing on that combination until Scheifele was hurt and he could be promoted if he continues to find ways to contribute offensively. He has maintained his power-play spot, mostly on the first unit, despite seeing most of game action on the third line. Connor is certainly someone to keep an eye on and could be worth picking up now in deeper leagues thanks to his recent hot streak.

Alex Killorn (TBL) - LW - Owned in 10% of Yahoo leagues

Killorn snapped an eight-game point drought with a five-point performance against Calgary on Feb. 1. He has got himself back in a groove since then with two goals and one assist over a three-game point streak. Killorn skated alongside Nikita Kucherov and Brayden Point on Saturday night. He had been clicking alongside Yanni Gourde previously and sees action on the top power-play unit.

Thomas Chabot (OTT) - D - Owned in 3% of Yahoo leagues

Chabot’s ice time has been up and down this season, but he should start seeing an increased role with the team down the stretch. He has earned an assist in each of his last three games. Chabot has also been working on the top power-play unit alongside Erik Karlsson. He is worth monitoring at the very least. Chabot has plenty of value in dynasty formats.

J.T. Compher (COL) - C, LW, RW - Owned in 2% of Yahoo leagues

The Avalanche have not received much from Alexander Kerfoot since he was elevated to the top line to replace injured center Nathan MacKinnon, but Compher has helped pick up the slack. He has two goals and two assists in five games since MacKinnon went down and he has collected seven points in his past eight appearances. Compher has been meshing nicely with Tyson Jost and Mikko Rantanen joined the combination on Saturday versus Carolina.

Alex Iafallo (LAK) - C, LW - Owned in 1% of Yahoo leagues

Iafallo has accounted for four goals and three assists in the last 10 games. His three-game point streak was snapped Saturday versus Tampa Bay, but he has finally started to heat up offensively after spending most of the year alongside Anze Kopitar. It took time for the chemistry to develop and now that it’s here, Iafallo makes for a solid under-the-radar pickup in deeper leagues.
