Updated On: June 25, 2020, 11:14 am ET

Homestead-Miami Speedway was the site of another busy catch-up weekend for NASCAR's top three national series schedules. Saturday, the Florida track featured the first of two XFINITY Series races, the Hooters 250 and the Gander Truck Series' Baptist Health 200. Sunday started out with the Contender Boats 250, the second NXS event, which went into double overtime extending the 167 lap race into a 177-lap event. Later in the afternoon, the Cup Series drivers just got the command to start their engines but a passing shower forced a delay before they even moved the cars. After taking the green flag to start the event and going less than 10 laps, lightening strikes brought out the red flag. Another start, then about 15 laps later, another red flag delay for lightening. After 8:00 PM EST, the Dixie Vodka 400 restarted and continued to completion. The latest results and upcoming scheduled events for NASCAR feeder series are included below as well as details on all tracks mentioned in this column.
