NASCAR's CUP and Truck series races were held at Kansas Speedway this past weekend. The Gander Outdoors Truck Series teams competed in the 167-lap Digital Ally 250 on Friday night at the 1.5-mile oval. On Saturday night, the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series drivers completed the overtime 271-lap (scheduled for 267 laps) Digital Ally 400 at the Kansas City, KS track. The XFINITY Series, off this week, will return to action on Saturday, May 25, with the Alsco 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (CUP)
TIME TRIALS: Kevin Harvick (No. 4 Ford Mustang) won the Busch Pole Award for the Digital Ally 400 with a lap of 179.217 mph. This is his 28th pole in 658 CUP races. It is his third pole, eighth top-10 start in 2019 and his fifth pole in 27 races at Kansas Speedway. Aric Almirola (second) posted his eighth top-10 start of 2019 and his sixth in 15 Kansas races. Clint Bowyer (third) posted his eighth top-10 start at Kansas and eighth in 12 races this season. Daniel Hemric (26th) was the fastest qualifying Sunoco Rookie of the Year (ROTY) contender.
Did not qualify: No one. 40 cars entered for 40 spots in the lineup.
RESULTS: Brad Keselowski (No. 2 Ford Mustang) won the Digital Ally 400, his 30th victory in 353 CUP races. This is his third victory and sixth top-10 finish in 2019. It is his second victory and 10th top-10 finish in 19 races at Kansas. Alex Bowman (second) posted his third top-10 finish in eight Kansas races and his third top-10 finish in 2019. Erik Jones (third) scored his third top-10 finish in six races at Kansas. Pole-sitter Kevin Harvick led a race-high 104 laps and finished the 271-lap event in 13th place. Daniel Hemric (18th) was the highest finishing ROTY contender.

TIME TRIALS: Matt Crafton (No. 88 Ford F-150) won the Pole Award for the Digital Ally 250 with a lap of 177.288 mph. This is his 14th pole in 437 GOTS races. This is his first pole and fourth top-10 start in 2019 and his first pole in 19 races at Kansas Speedway. Tyler Ankrum (second), the fastest qualifying ROTY contender who was making his first start at Kansas, posted his third top-10 series start of 2019. Harrison Burton (third) scored his first top-10 Kansas start and his sixth in seven series races this season.

RESULTS: NASCAR XFINITY Series regular Ross Chastain, driving the Niece Motorsports No. 45 Chevrolet Silverado, won the Digital Ally 250, his first victory in 66 GOTS races. This is his seventh top-10 truck finish in 2019 and first top-10 finish in three GOTS races at Kansas Speedway. Ben Rhodes (second) posted his first top-10 finish in four Kansas races and his fifth top-10 finish in 2019. Todd Gilliland, who was making his first start at Kansas, finished third. Harrison Burton (10th) was the top finishing ROTY contender. Pole-sitter Matt Crafton led eight laps and finished the 167-lap race in sixth place.
Standings: Grant Enfinger leads the point standings by 13 points over Brett Moffitt.
